KANNUR: The coordination committee of the pro-CPM Muslim cultural organisations will host a seminar on ‘The past and present of Palestine,’ in which three students from the trouble-torn region will present their harrowing experiences. Speakers representing various Muslim organisations will also participate in the seminar.
“The seminar is being organised in the context of the ‘criminal indifference’ of world nations, including India and the United Nations, towards the Israeli attacks on the people of Palestine,” said A N Shamseer, CPM leader and general convener of the coordination committee of the pro-CPM Muslim organisations, at a press conference here on Saturday.
The seminar was aimed at sparking off an open debate on the Palestine issue, he added.
