RSS Chief’s State Tour to Start Today

KOCHI: The week-long visit by RSS Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagavat to the state will begin on Tuesday.

He will reach Nedumbassery at 3 pm and proceed to Thodupuzha to attend various functions in Idukki district.

Bhagavat will address a meeting of full-time workers of various bodies of Sangh Parivar and another meeting of RSS workers from two taluks in the district on Wednesday.

He will address a meeting of RSS workers in Idukki district at Kattappana Town Hall on Thursday. The RSS supremo will attend a meeting of the district presidents of RSS (Sanghchalaks) the next day. Bhagavat will inaugurate the silver jubilee celebrations of Aravinda Vidya Mandir and participate in a meeting of state functionaries of RSS in Kerala and Tamil Nadu at Kottayam Pallikkathod on Saturday.

He will reach Thiruvananthapuram on August 31 and will fly back to Nagpur on September 1. Heavy security arrangements have been put in place in the southern districts, especially Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram in connection with the visit of RSS chief.
