THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Sheila Dikshit, who has put in her papers, returned to Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday night.Dikshit, whose resignation is yet to be accepted, declined to speak to reporters who were waiting for her at the Thiruvananthapuram Airport.
Dikshit arrived here by 10.40 p.m. on a New Delhi-Kochi-Thiruvananthapuram Air India flight. Dikshit had met President Pranabh Mukherjee and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who had boarded the flight in Kochi, also accompanied the former Delhi Chief Minister to Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
