THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Former Chief Justice of India P Sathasivam is likely to succeed Sheila Dikshit as Kerala Governor, say unconfirmed reports.
Earlier, there were reports that Justice Sathasivam, who retired as Chief Justice of India in April, may be given an important gubernatorial assignment.
Justice Sathasivamhad indicated that he was open to accepting any position which suits the stature of a former CJI.
However, state BJP leadership feigned ignorance about such a development.
