ADIMALI : Joice George MP, called off his fast on Friday after getting assurance from the government that it would look into the charges against the forest officials who had allegedly demolished five culverts in tribal areas in Neriyamangalam forest.
The announcement was made by CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan at Neriyamangalam where Joice had been on fast for the last four days.
