KOCHI:The CBI Court on Tuesday remanded Protector of Emigrants (PoE), Kochi, L Adolfus, an accused in the nurses recruitment scam, in Judicial custody for one day.
CBI Court Judge Kalam Pasha remanded Adolfus after the CBI failed to produce the affidavit stating undertaking of the accused and the case diary at the court on time. The court asked the CBI to produce the case dairy in the evening for considering the custody petition. However, when the court assembled, CBI counsel submitted that more details had to be added in the case diary, and that an updated version of the diary will be produced on Wednesday.
