KOZHIKODE: Industrialist Kochouseph Chittilappilly launched a 24-hour hunger strike on the Beach maidan, here, on Saturday demanding the authorities to address the stray dog menace in the state. Film maker Renjith inaugurated the protest at noon at a function attended by various social-political figures, parents and relatives of the victim of stray dogs attacks in and around the city and the general public.
Addressing the gathering, Chittilappilly alleged that the government officials and political leaders are getting crores of rupee as bribe from the anti-rabies vaccine manufacturing companies in the country.
