SABARIMALA: Special rituals invoking the blessings of Lord Ayyappa on the newly-appointed BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan were held at the temple here on Friday. ‘Pushpabhishekam,’ ‘Neeranjanam,’ ‘Ellupayasam’ and ‘Parakottipattu’ were among the rituals held. ‘Pushpabhishekam’ was conducted under the leadership of Thantri Mahesh Mohanaru, in the presence of Melsanthi Sankaran Nampoothiri after ‘Deeparadhana’ at 6.45 pm.
