THRISSUR: The Thrissur Principal Sessions Court on Thursday sentenced a 28-year-old man for 11 year imprisonment on the charge of murder attempt. Principal assistant sessions judge P N Sitha convicted Kuttan of Venganellur under Section 307 and 326 of the IPC besides slapping a fine of `25,000. If he fails to pay the fine, he will have to undergo an additional imprisonment of one year. According to prosecution case, Kuttan stabbed his co-worker Narayanankutty with his knife over a dispute between them on 17 October, 2008.
