THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The valedictory function of the eighth season of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF) will be held here on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the valedictory function at the University Senate Hall at 6 pm. Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar will preside over the function. While Deputy Leader of Opposition Kodiyeri Balakrishnan will be the chief guest, K Muraleedharan MLA will deliver the keynote address. Shashi Tharoor MP, Mayor K Chandrika and representatives of traders’ bodies will be present.
GKSF was organised by the Tourism Department from December 1 to January 25. The prizes under various categories will also be given away during the valedictory function.
