One Train Cancelled, Many Diverted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The derailment of Bangalore City - Ernakulam Junction Intercity Express led to the cancellation of one train, partial cancellation of another train and diversion of many trains on the route.

Train No 17235 Bangalore City - Nagercoil Junction Express scheduled to leave from Bangalore City was cancelled. Train No 17236 Nagercoil - Bangalore Express was partially cancelled between Hosur and Bangalore. The same train left Hosur at 2.20 pm to Ernakulam with the stranded passengers of the derailed train.

Train No 12678 Ernakulam Jn. - Bangalore City was diverted via Jolarpettai A Cabin. Train No 17236 Nagercoil Jn. - Bangalore City Express which left Nagercoil on Friday was diverted via Tirupattur and Jolarpettai A Cabin.

It will arrive Bangalore on Saturday. Train No.12258 Kochuveli - Yeswantpur (Triweekly) Garibrath Express which left Kochuveli on Friday was diverted via Tirupattur, Jolarpettai A Cabin and will reach Yesvantpur on Saturday.

Train No 12678 Ernakulam - Bangalore Intercity Express which left Ernakulam Junction on Friday was diverted via Tiruppatur.

Train No 16527 Yeswantpur - Kannur Express scheduled to leave Yeswantpur on Friday was diverted via Tiruppatur. Train No 16528 Kannur - Yeswantpur Express which left Kannur on Friday was diverted via Tiruppatur. Train No 12258 Kochuveli - Yeswantpur Garibrath, which left Kochuveli on Friday, was diverted via Tiruppatur.
