KOCHI: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau officials probing the controversial bar bribe case conducted raids on the office of the Bar Owners Association in Palarivattom on Wednesday. The raid which started in the morning concluded by 6.30 pm in the evening.
According to officials, the investigation team seized cash book of previous years and minutes book from the office. The team comprising nine officials conducted the raid.“We would first examine the seized documents. The raid was carried out on the basis of the statement recorded in the initial stages of the probe. On the basis of the evidence collected, the statements will be re-examined.
If required, statements of more people would be recorded,” officials said.
