THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Information and Norka Minister K C Joseph on Monday flayed Opposition MLAs for not attending the budget scrutiny meeting. “It is the duty of the Opposition to participate in the meeting, point out mistakes and provide valuable suggestions. However, the Opposition MLAs, who boycotted the budget presentation, had also boycotted the budget scrutiny,” Joseph told reporters.  He said that the action of the MLAs was an injustice to their respective constituencies and the state as a whole. “The Opposition should understand that even if they do not co-operate, the budgetprocess would be completed,” he said, adding that the Oppositon MLAs should not run away from their duty owing to political differences.
