KOCHI: Kerala Chamber of Commerce (KCC) vice-president M Raseef approached the High Court with more evidence against the Excise Minister .
He submitted before the court that Babu had asked Biju Ramesh to give the bag containing `50 lakh to his PS at his chamber in May 2013. The submission was made on a plea seeking police protection.
Raseef submitted that during a meeting with Biju Ramesh, the latter informed that he was going to meet Babu to give Rs 50 lakh, and showed the money. The petitioner said he was surprised and asked Biju whether the Minister would take bribe at the chamber office. Then, Biju asked the petitioner to accompany him. Accordingly, he, along with Biju Ramesh and his general manager Radhakrishnan, went to the chamber of the Minister at the Secretariat in an Innova car bearing registration number KL-O1 AV 1.
