THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) interrogated Finance Minister K M Mani in connection with the bar bribery scam on Friday.
The minister was interrogated for nearly an hour at Kovalam on Friday evening by Vigilance SP R Sukesan, the officer investigating the case. Mani, who returned to his official residence in the city in the night, declined to speak to the media.
The VACB had booked Mani in December last year in connection with the case which pertains to charges that Mani had accepted a bribe for re-opening 418 bars that were closed down in March 2014.
