KOLLAM: The Mass Contact programme of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will take place on Monday at the Fatima Mata National College here. The district administration said in a press note that the CM would hear the grievances of the petitioners from 8 a.m. onwards.
The programme is expected to consider around 30,133 petitions and of these, around 9,504 petitions sought financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.
As per the arrangement, the Chief Minister will first hear from the petitioners sitting at the A block. The number of petitioners in this category is 109.
After this, the grievances of physically challenged and new petitioners would be considered.
