KOZHIKODE:CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that the LDF leadership has not branded the JD(U) as untouchable. “It is the JD(U) leadership that should decide whether it has to join the LDF or not. We welcome the stand taken by the JD(U) now,” Kodiyeri said after paying a brief visit to ‘Mathrubhumi’ office here late on Monday. Kodiyeri held talks with JD(U) state president M P Veerendrakumar at his office for around 20 minutes. Later, speaking to reporters, Veerendrakumar said the CPM leader’s visit was only a courtesy call.
