THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Home Department has written to the Union Personal Ministry for an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the murder of Hakeem in Kannur. Earlier, the CBI had failed to respond to a letter sent by the department in this regard. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said that the current Crime Branch probe would continue till the CBI takes over the case.
