High Security for Amit Shah's Visit

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:Elaborate security arrangements have been planned by the city police in view of the visit of BJP national president Amit Shah on Tuesday to lead the Secretariat siege organised by the party. According to police officials, a huge police bandobast will be put in place on Tuesday with the addition of more battalions of police personnel from AR camp. The security team will be led by 14 DySPs. The city will be under round-the-clock surveillance through CCTVs installed at various points. ‘’We will leave no stone unturned in giving security cover to the BJP leader. As Amit Shah is coming under ‘Z’ category security, we are also on a high alert. Our forces will be well equipped and Shah will be protected throughout the march which will be taken out from Palayam to Secretariat,’’ said City Police Commissioner H Venkatesh.
