ALAPPUZHA:Congress leader A K Antony has said that he didn’t target any leader from the party or UDF while he was addressing the meeting of the Kerala Secretariat Association at Thiruvananthapuram. Speaking to reporters here Antony said that corruption is a general issue and he didn’t mention any leader or party. It was not aimed to tarnish the image of any leader.
■ Antony said that there are issues prevailing in the Congress and the UDF which were raised many a time before. At present, the party High Command has not thought about a change of leadership in the state. If all are united as a collective force, the Congress can be at the helm again, he said.
■ Antony said that leaders like Oommen Chandy, Ramesh Chennithala and V M Sudheeran are competent enough to take the party forward in the state.
