KOZHIKODE: Southern Green Farming and Marketing Multi-State Cooperative Society Ltd (Greenma) will throw open their office in Kozhikode on May 23 at 1 pm.
K Muraleedharan MLA will inaugurate the office at Hasna complex, near English church.
Greenma aims at delivering milk, drinking water, vegetables and banking services at a reliable price, eradicating the menace of middlemen, said its office-bearers at a press conference on Thursday.
The initiative will encourage organic farming by distributing seeds and introducing scientific methods of cultivation.
It is also aimed at controlling the price hike to a large extent. New projects will be introduced to attract tourists visiting India.
Greenma chairman P P Gopinatha Pillai, vice-chairman R Sachith, managing director Abdul Kader V P, directors P Mammad Koya and P Kunji Moideen also attended the press conference.
