THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM state secretariat resolution states that whenever the UDF lands in a crisis, Achuthanandan will come out to distract the public attention and provide opportunity for the right wing media to celebrate and raise allegations against the party.
The resolution continues to say that it is not the first time that VS had maligned the party through his public statements. He had demonstrated his reluctance not to stand by the party positions adopted based on collective decisions. ‘’VS’ criticism was that the party’s Kerala leadership had deviated from its basic principles. But in July 2012, the central committee had adopted a resolution rejecting the claims of VS. A decision was taken on the intervention of the PB on issues related to party’s tie-up with DIC(K) and PDP. The state committee is implementing the decisions of the party congress and the central committee. VS is raising the same allegations which had been rejected by the central committee in 2012,’’ the resolution said.
