Panel to Probe Errors in SSLC Results Set Up

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Education Department has constituted a four-member committee headed by General Education Secretary V S Senthil to inquire into the errors in the results of the SSLC examination.

Director of the Centre for Bio-informatics, University of Kerala,  Achuthsankar S Nair, Kerala State Information Technology Mission Director K Mohammed Y Safarulla and former secretary of Pareeksha Bhavan Johns V John are the other members of the committe.  The committee will examine whether there were any lapses on the part of officials in the compilation of results and also whether the lapses occurred at the valuation centres or at the Pareeksha Bhavan.

The four-member committee  has been given one month time to submit the report. 

The committee was constituted on the recommendation of the Director of Public Instruction who conducted a preliminary probe into the lapses.
