IDUKKI: The celebrations of the NDA government completing one year at the Centre will be inaugurated at Uthram Residency, Thodupuzha, at 5 pm on May 27. BJP national spokesman G V L Narasimha Rao will inaugurate the programme.
District president P A Velukuttan will preside over the event. Senior BJP leaders from the state and district will attend. The party will hoist flag at different centres and distribute sweets in the coming days. It will also organise social programmes including mass cleaning operations, hold camps to educate people on the programmes started by the BJP government including accident insurance, life insurance and pension schemes among others.
