Tribal Watchman Hurt

IDUKKI: A 25- year- old tribal watchman suffered injuries while having a close shave with a  bison attacking him in a forest at Vazhathara in Chinnar near Munnar on Wednesday. Sasi was attacked at the back by the bison while attempting to escape from the wild animal, according to Forest sources. The watchman managed to hide himself between a bunch of trees. Other watchmen Murugan, Pavan Raj and Jayapal found him and informed the Forest Department about the incident.He was ferried to the Community Health Centre, Marayoor.

With only 6 months after his joining, he suffered injuries in the right leg.
