KANNUR: CPM district secretary P Jayarajan has been directed to meet CBI officials on June 2 after the latter served him notice for inquiry in connection with RSS Kannur District Sharirik Shikshan Pramuk Kathirur Elamthottathil Manoj murder case.
Jayarajan refused to comment further on the case when the reporters inquired to him in Kannur.
On Wednesday, the CBI had served a notice to Jayarajan, directing him to be present at the CBI office in Thiruvananthapuram on June 2.
The CPM leader has been asked to be present before CBI in the murder case of RSS leader Manoj, who was killed in September 2014.
