'Break-up' gives fodder for trollsters

KOTTAYAM: A day after K M Mani and the KC(M) parted ways with the UDF, the social media was abuzz with trolls on the Pala legislator, even likening him to a divorcee looking for a new partner.

P C George’s Facebook post, taking an oblique dig at Mani and his son, has taken the social media by storm with the post getting 2.5k likes, besides being shared 800 times.

The post narrates a ‘Varthamanakala Katha’ of a goat and its kid which leave  the land they had been grazing for long after realising that there were greener pastures on either sides.

Meanwhile, an emotional Jose K Mani clarified the party stance through his FB post. The move was not for power. It was with great pain that the KC(M) left the UDF, he wrote on his FB page.

He also claimed the decision would enable the party to uphold its self-esteem and dignity.

The decision to sit as a separate bloc will also help the KC(M) to be a responsible Opposition.
