Vellappally in Delhi for Parleys

ALAPPUZHA:  SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan and son Thushar Vellappally have left for New Delhi to tap new political possibilities. The BDJS leaders, including SNDP Mavelikkara union president Subhash Vasu, visited BJP president Amit Shah and discussed the future coalition possibilities.

Vellappally told ‘Express’ that he had decided to register BDJS as a national party and the process of registration is progressing. The party see more political scope in national politics, he said.

“Our aim is to become a coalition party in NDA and not an alley of BJP. Amit Shah invited us to conduct discussion and we reached Delhi,” he told ‘Express’ over phone from Delhi.
