THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Aspirants of MBA courses of Kerala University can now obtain admission through a hassle-free online process.

Applications for admission to MBA programmes at the Institute of Management in Kerala, Karyavattom (MBA-CSS), MBA (Tourism-CSS), UIM (MBA-Full time) and IMK -(MBA (Evening) can be submitted online at www.admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in.

“The highlight of the process is that the students need to only register for admission. There is no need to send applications to the university,” professor and head, IMK, K S Chandrasekhar, said.

Students will be informed about the group discussion and personal interview to be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Adoor and Alappuzha through SMS and e-mail.

The rank list will be published within three days of the final group discussion and personal interview. All students who have a valid CAT, MAT, K MAT and C-MAT scores are eligible to apply. As per the directives of the Justice James Committee, the IMK has decided not to conduct any entrance examination this year

“We expect to complete the admission process by the end of June. The admission list will be forwarded to the university and Justice James committee immediately,” Chandrasekhar said.

The classes at the centres will commence by the first week of July. This centralised admission process will give the much-needed fillip to students from other states who choose Kerala University for their management studies.
