THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran has said that the ban on entry of women at Sabarimala was unjust.

Surendran said the government would take a decision in this regard after detailed talks. The previous LDF Government headed by V S Achuthanandan had supported the entry of women at Sabarimala temple. In its affidavit submitted in the Supreme Court in November 2007, the government stated that it was unjust to prevent a section of women from visiting the shrine.
