THRISSUR: The body of a Romanian woman married to a local man was found in the portico of a multi-storeyed apartment complex at Mammiyoor here on Thursday.
Bejinera Madileri Roberteena (40), who was discovered dead, had got married to Hariharan, Erath Veedu, Manikkathapadi, Guruvayoor, barely four months ago.
Police believe that Roberteena, who had been residing at the flat for the last two years, leapt to her death from the eight-storeyed building.
A suicide note purportedly from the victim was also recovered.Hariharan told the police that Roberteena was under severe mental stress for the last several days after her mother was diagnosed with cancer.
