THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Alleging womanhood and motherhood had lost value under the LDF regime, BJP national executive member P K Krishnadas alleged Pinarayi Vijayan was trying to stifle the voices against his government.

After visiting K M Shajahan’s mother Thankamma at her residence here on Monday, Krishnadas told reporters the Chief Minister was possessed by the ghost of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The government was arresting people on charges which even Indira Gandhi had been reluctant to invoke, he said. Shajahan should be released and Pinarayi Vijayan should tender apology to him.

BJP would extend all support to the agitation launched by Shajahan’s mother, said Krishnadas.
