KOZHIKODE: Three persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Friday. In the first incident, a 58-year-old person was killed when a speeding car hit his bike. In the impact, he was thrown onto the road and a lorry ran over him. The accident happened on Vengeri bypass road at 7.20 am. The deceased is Rajan P K, of Koyilandy.
In the second incident, Bidhosh Raj, 46, of Marikunnu, was killed after a speeding lorry knocked down his bike at Vaidhyanangadi. Though locals rushed him to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. In another incident, a 58-year-old person was killed when his scooter collided with a bike near Muthappan Kavu in the city. The deceased is Shivadasan K, 58, of Perumugham.
