Dileep’s fuddled petition to the DGP

KOCHI: Though Dileep lodged a petition before DGP Loknath Behera on April 20 alleging he was being blackmailed to the tune of `2 crore for not having his name pulled into the actress’s sexual abuse case, he could not clearly establish through whom the money was demanded, and when and where the said incident happened, according to the investigators.  

“As per the letter written by Pulsar Suni, he indirectly says the promised money for the quotation would be handed over only within five months,” said the remand report. “However in his complaint, Dileep claimed they demanded `2 crore. He could not acceptably cite the details.”
