KOCHI: Kerala Congress chairman and NDA National Committee member PC Thomas has urged the LDF Government to disclose the report submitted by the Justice G Sivarajan inquiry commission on the solar scam before the public. He also welcomed the government’s decision to initiate legal action against those mentioned in the report. Since the government has decided to initiate action against those named in the inquiry report, it can be assumed that the report has been accepted by the government. Hence, it need not be kept a classified document anymore.
Usually, such reports are tabled in the Assembly. But as the Assembly session is not to be convened in the near future, the government can indeed publicise the report,” Thomas told reporters at the Ernakulam Press Club on Saturday. “In Kerala, ministers and politicians continue to remain in their posts even after cases are registered against them. This trend prevails in both the left and right political fronts. Soon the people will come out against both these fronts,” he said.
