South Indian ministers’ conclave to submit memorandum to President Ram Nath Kovind

A broader meeting with the participation of more states will be held in Visakhapatnam by this month-end or the first week of May.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The south Indian ministers’ conclave to discuss the terms of reference for the 15th Finance Commission has decided to submit a memorandum to the President Ram Nath Kovind seeking his attention to address the issues.

The memorandum will be prepared by taking inputs from the notes submitted by the states which attended the conclave --- Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Puducherry.Thiruvananthapuram-based Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation will draft it.

A broader meeting with the participation of more states will be held in Visakhapatnam by this month-end or the first week of May. Delhi, West Bengal, Punjab and Odisha will be invited to this meeting.
