BHUBANESWAR: There could not have been a more befitting end to the National Integration  Camp after Shaikh Altaf said: “We were Indians, we are Indians and we will remain Indians for all time to come.”

 This statement coming from a member of the delegation from Jammu and  Kashmir which is in the midst of turbulence, the valedictory function on  Sunday night could not ask for more. ‘’The camp has been a great experience. We love India, and return home with the resolve to work for the country’s  unity and integrity,’’ said the youth.

 Around 200 youths from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, J&K, Jharkhand,  West Bengal and Orissa took part in the camp which was jointly organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and Siksha O Anusandhan University.

 Principal Secretary to Sports and Youth Affairs Department Parag Gupta was  the chief guest at the valedictory function. A colourful  cultural  programme marked the culmination of the camp.

 Deputy Chairman of SOA University Prof  BK Sarap, University V-C Prof  MP  Jain, Dean of IBCS Prof Jyotirmay Mohapatra, Zonal Director of  NYKS JP Mallik and Deputy Director Nabin Kumar Naik spoke.
