The Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) on Friday said the new ministry, under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, will steer the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) to victory in the 2014 Assembly elections.
Welcoming the new ministers, BYJD general secretary Bijay Nayak said development works, undertaken by the State Government, would get a boost under the new dispensation. Nayak also congratulated BYJD president Sanjay Dasburma on his appointment as Deputy Chief Whip.
