Tribal youth complete courses

The three courses conducted by the CRPF for skill development of tribal youths of the State drew to a close on Wednesday.

Run under the Skill Development Programme of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the courses in security guard training, data entry operator and industrial stitching were aimed at empowering the tribal youth so that they are not lured by Maoists. IG of CRPF, Odisha, SN Sabat presented certificates to all the trainees and mementos to physically-challenged five youth who had successfully scaled Mt. Stokkangri (20,172 ft).
