More youths would make Congress Seva Dal stronger, says Niranjan

State Congress president  Niranjan Patnaik on Tuesday said more youths would have to be included as members to make the Seva Dal more stronger.

Addressing the State Executive meeting of the Seva Dal at the Congress Bhavan here as the chief guest, Niranjan said a separate action plan would have to be prepared for streamlining the organisation. He said more training camps are required to make Seva Dal an harbinger of change.

Presiding over the meeting, Naba Nayak,  in-charge of the Seva Dal, said eight training camps would be held across the State during the next three months. He said the State office-bearers would coordinate with district heads of the Seva Dal to select two new members for the organisation.

Former minister Suresh Kumar Routray, Seva Dal office-bearers Jyotish Kumar Sahu, Bipin Bihari Nayak, Ashok Singh, Rabindra Behera and several others said the organisation should be strengthened further in the coming days to make Congressmen more committed.
