SONEPUR: Patali Srikhetra will soon have its own Jagannath temple. It is widely believed that the idols of the Trinity were kept hidden in the caves of Trikut hill here for 144 years during the invasion of Raktavahu.

Architect Raghunath Mohapatra accompanied by Collector Gagan Bihari Swain  and SP Dasrathi Naik visited the caves at Kotsamalai village on Sunday.

Mohapatra will work on the proposed design and after approval of Gajapati Maharaj Dibyasingha Deb, Sonepur administration and the temple managing committee, work on the structure will begin.
