One woman died and three others including two women and a child, all belonging to one family, were injured after being struck by lightning in Bhubaneswar village under Paikmal police limits on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Bhargabi Bag (44) while the injured Dhabani Bag (58), Bijli Bag (40) and his son Saroj Bag (14) were rushed to Paikmal community health centre.
They were later shifted to Padampur Sub Division Hospital.
The incident took place when they were working in their agricultural land.
