In two separate daring broad daylight heists, miscreants decamped with Rs 6 lakhs on Wednesday. Police launched a man-hunt and raided several places to identify and nab the culprits.
Reports said two employees of Prasad Transport Company in Baraipali area here withdrew Rs 5 lakh from Axis Bank and were heading for their office.
Two bike-borne youths waylaid the employees near Malipada and fled with the bag containing the cash. In another incident, two miscreants came in a bike and snatched a bag containing Rs 1 lakh from a retired government employee.
