e-India Award for KiiT

The KiiT International School has bagged the prestigious e-India 2013 Award for use of technology in teaching under education category.

This is the first time an institution from Odisha has got this award. Principal of KiiT International School Sanjay Suar and Deputy Head Nandita Mishra received the award in the presence of Minister for  Information Technology and Communication of Andhra Pradesh Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

A conference-cum-expo was also held on the sidelines of the award ceremony. The projects of KIIT-CREYA Learning Studio and KIIT-IAPT Anveshika Centre drew attention of educationists, jury members and visitors.  Selection criteria for the award were based on innovation, scalability, replicability and impact of the projects.

The two-day event brought together stakeholders to facilitate a productive exchange of information.
