One Bhuban Nayak, a beetle vendor, sustained bullet injuries in a firing incident at Ranja Chhack under Sadar police limits on Saturday.
Three persons arrived at Nayak’s shop on a motorcycle and bought a water pouch and some ‘paan’. They then fired at him and fled. Nayak has been admitted to Dhenkanal hospital. Police said efforts are on to nab the miscreants.
