Home Secretary told to visit Koraput

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed Home Secretary Vipin Kumar Saxena and Director General Police (DGP) Prakash Mishra to visit Koraput to review the Maoist menace in the area.

The Chief Minister on Thursday reviewed the situation after the Maoist attack on a convoy of Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday in which four jawans were killed.

Besides the Home Secretary and DGP, other senior officials were present in the meeting.
