The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has finally completed the Pokhariput bus terminal project after a long wait of more than a year.
The project is expected to be inaugurated during Bhubaneswar Development Authority’s Foundation Day celebration on September 1.
The completion of the project is a major relief for the city bus operator Dream Team Sahara (DTS), which has been operating out of a temporary bus depot near Master Canteen.
Dream Team Sahara officials said now they will have their own terminal complete with new equipments that they can use at the new terminal.
They will continue to operate out of the bus depot in Master Canteen as the original destination terminal.
Sources said the Bhubaneswar Development Authority was planning to renovate the Master Canteen bus depot too.
