A cultural evening will be organised by city-based Parichay Foundation at Rabindra Mandap on the eve of International Women’s Day on Thursday.
The event, titled Aarya, will feature four leading women in the national cultural scenario.
Kathak exponent Shovana Narayan will present a dance drama on ‘Women Power’, while Odissi exponent Ileana Citaristi and her group will stage another dance drama Karuna and Odia singers Susmita Das and Adyasha Das will present a musical show.
The other highlights of the evening are a tribal fusion dance by slum children of Salia Sahi and a fashion show.
Eminent women personalities of Odisha will be felicitated at the event which will be inaugurated by Governor MC Bhandare, said president of Parichay Foundation, Rosalin Patsani.
