A youth of Ganjam died during the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) recruitment drive here on Tuesday. He has been identified as Aswini Jena.
As per reports, after completing the physical test, Jena collapsed at around 11.40 am. He was rushed to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) where he died in the evening.
Quoting preliminary report, Doctors at IGH said the youth appeared to have died of ‘metabolic acidosis’ which is caused by high secretion of body acid.
Arrested: A 20-year-old youth Sanjay Lakra was forwarded to court on Monday on the charges of raping a minor girl at Dareikela village under Bisra police limits. Police said the victim was known to the youth.
