Three persons including a father and son duo were killed when a truck coming from opposite direction rammed into the motorcycle on which they were travelling on Wednesday morning at Jharanpada
on NH-55 under the Rairakhol police limits in the district.
The deceased have been identified as Arjun Pradhan (48), and his son Sachin Pradhan (22) of Ganesh Nagar in Rairakhol town besides Prashanta Behera (25) of Baishnabjuli here.
Reports said that three were on their way to attend a marriage at Baishnabjuli from Rairakhol town when the accident took place. They died on the spot. Driver and cleaner of the truck have been detained.
